DANUBENERGY

Rubrika Projekt patří do skupiny středoevropských projektů (Central Europe Programme) a je založený na regionální i mezinárodní bázi, díky které umožní otestovat v regionu novou technologii zpracovávající méně kvalitní vstupní biomasu (např. odpad z povinné údržby zatravněných říčních břehů včetně případných keřů) v žádané biopalivo (rostlinné pelety). Regionální charakter projektu spočívá v provedení studie dostupného potenciálu daného typu biomasy, který neohrožuje potravinovou bezpečnost regionu a navíc efektivně řeší problém využití méně kvalitní odpadní biomasy. Partnery projektu jsou Environment Technique Baden Baden (Německo); AGIRE – Energy Management Agency (Itálie); BIOMASA – Association of Legal Entities(Slovensko); CATRO (Slovinsko); Competence Centre Naturemanagement (Rakousko); Energy Agency of the Regions (Rakousko); EAZK (Česká Republika); Sárvári HUKE Waste Treatment Ltd. (Maďarsko); Bavarian Research State Centre for Agriculture, IAB (Německo); Poznan University of Life Sciences (Polsko); University of Kassel Faculty of Grassland Sciences (Witzenhausen, Německo).

Demo event and workshop on IFBB technology

18.04.2014

Workshops on the demonstration unit of IFBB technology took place in the area of Technical Services Zlín, s.r.o. in Zlín-Louky on the 10th, 11th, 14th and 15th April 2014. Workshops were attended by representatives of the Zlín Region, representatives of municipalities and technical services located both in the territory of the Zlín region and outside, operators of biogas plants, students of Tomas Bata University in Zlin etc. Altogether 113 people from 63 institutions attended the workshops in four days.

The program was divided into two parts: first one was theoretical and the second part practical with a demonstration of the IFFB unit in operation. In the first part the participants were introduced with the project Danubenergy and its background as well as with examples of waste management in the Czech Republic and abroad. The entire theoretical part was ended with the presentation of the representatives of the University of Kassel about the IFBB technology and the importance of utilizing waste biomass, either from urban green areas or landscape maintenance plant for the production of pellets. References were also made to the use of the household bio waste and its applicability in the context of biogas production as an important part of the IFBB technology.

In the second part of the program the participants of the workshops together with representatives of the University of Kassel visited demonstration unit Blue Conrad and they were shown how the entire IFBB technology works in practice. The participants had many questions related to their specific local needs and circumstances. They also wondered where the name “Blue Conrad” came from, and, as explained by representatives from UNI Kassel, the name of the unit is derived from the colour of the container in which the technology is stored and the name of the university professor who invented this technology.
